STILL CURIOUS.

STILL DISCOVERING.

The longer I do this work, the more I realize it was never really about the cameras. It’s about understanding people, uncovering what matters most, and remaining curious enough to keep discovering something new.

– Looking back, I don’t think my work has changed nearly as much as my understanding of it has –

For most of my career, I thought I was in the video business. I was wrong. What I’ve really been doing is helping people uncover the stories that make other people care.
Ironically, I didn’t fully realize that until recently.

For years, I would have told you that I was passionate about filmmaking. And I am. But somewhere along the way, I realized filmmaking was simply the path that led me to the thing I’ve always been most interested in—people. What moves them. What inspires them. What earns their trust. And what makes them care enough to take action.

Looking back, I don’t think my work has changed nearly as much as my understanding of it has. I’ve become more curious. I ask better questions. I listen more carefully. And I spend a lot less time thinking about cameras and a lot more time thinking about the people on both sides of them. That realization has made me better at what I do. The cameras are just how we get there.

“The right questions can change everything.”
